HPE Unveils Secure AI Factory Innovations in Collaboration with NVIDIA

HPE Introduces Expanded “NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE” Portfolio Developed with NVIDIA

HPE has unveiled its expanded NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, developed in collaboration with NVIDIA. The next-generation solutions aim to make artificial intelligence secure, scalable, and easily deployable across a wide range of sectors — from governments and regulated industries to private enterprises.

The new portfolio enables organizations to deploy custom AI infrastructure more quickly and efficiently. It is powered by turnkey AI Factory solutions, unified data strategies, and HPE’s latest server platforms featuring NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI infrastructure.

According to HPE’s 2025 Architecting an AI Advantage report, around 60% of organizations still have fragmented AI objectives, and a similar percentage lack a comprehensive data management strategy.

With this partnership, HPE and NVIDIA aim to address these challenges by offering solutions that support a holistic ecosystem — spanning from AI developers to institutions building sovereign AI clouds.

Fidelma Russo, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Hybrid Cloud, and CTO at HPE, stated:

“To accelerate the widespread adoption of AI across enterprises, technology must directly address the core challenges organizations face around complex deployments and fragmented, highly sensitive data. Together with NVIDIA, we’re delivering a differentiated approach through full-stack, private AI factories that simplify operations and help businesses and governments scale rapidly while maintaining compliance.”

Justin Boitano, NVIDIA Vice President of Enterprise Software, said:

“AI factories are the new infrastructure of the intelligence era — built to produce tokens of intelligence at scale. NVIDIA and HPE are building these full-stack systems by integrating NVIDIA Blackwell, NVIDIA networking software, and AI data platform reference architectures to power enterprise AI across every industry, unlock automation, and accelerate digital transformation.”

Secure and Scalable AI Factory Solutions for Public and Enterprise Sectors
To help organizations of all sizes accelerate the value they gain from AI, the second generation of the HPE Private Cloud AI, co-developed with NVIDIA as part of the HPE portfolio, is now available in a smaller form factor. This offers new features and packages for a turnkey AI factory, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient AI deployment.

Industry-Leading AI Performance:

The new HPE ProLiant Compute DL380a Gen12 servers equipped with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs deliver up to three times better price-to-performance for enterprise AI workloads.

HPE’s DL380a Gen12 servers achieved leadership in seven categories in the MLPerf™ Inference v5.1 benchmarks, making them one of the most powerful systems in the industry.

AI Factory Deployments for Governments

HPE Private Cloud AI and HPE’s AI Factory for governments will support the new NVIDIA AI Factory, a full-stack, end-to-end reference architecture designed to meet the compliance needs of high-assurance organizations while providing guidance for deploying and managing multiple AI workloads both on-premises and across hybrid clouds.

Secure Architecture for Sovereign Entities

A new air-gapped management system enables governments, public institutions, and high-security sectors to build compliant, closed-loop cloud environments isolated from external networks.

A New Era in Customer Experience

Using HPE Services, HPE Private Cloud AI, and NVIDIA NeMo, HPE is developing digital avatar assistants designed to redefine customer engagement across industries — from smart cities and retail to manufacturing and healthcare.

Accelerated AI Outcomes

The new adoption acceleration service for HPE Private Cloud Developer Edition dramatically shortens deployment times by providing ready-to-use data pipelines and comprehensive knowledge transfer to data science teams after setup.

As a lighthouse customer, the City of Vail has adopted the HPE Agentic Smart City Solution, a unified, AI-powered platform designed to scale intelligent infrastructure securely and efficiently.
SHI, along with NVIDIA and HPE Unleash AI-certified partners, is working with Vail to improve accessibility compliance, permitting processes, and wildfire detection using HPE Private Cloud AI.

Agentic AI, Data Pipelines, and Governance

HPE has introduced new capabilities for its unified data layer, enabling agentic AI-based data governance.
This architecture can securely operate in air-gapped environments with unstructured data storage.

The unified data layer, built on HPE Data Fabric Software and HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000, accelerates the AI data lifecycle by combining data intelligence through a global namespace.
When deployed with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, and integrated with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing, networking, and AI software stack, organizations can intelligently feed their applications, models, and agents with AI-ready data.

Data Storage with Security by Design

The HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 can now be managed in air-gapped environments, providing a cloud-like management experience even in systems with restricted external access.

GPU-Accelerated Access

The X10000 also supports NVIDIA S3oRDMA, which delivers up to 2x performance gains via remote direct memory access (RDMA) transfers between GPU memory, system memory, and the X10000.

Agentic Governance

To simplify secure data management and system integration, HPE Data Fabric now supports agentic AI-powered governance.
Using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard, it enables secure model-data interaction, consistent compliance auditing, and reduced time-to-insight.
The global namespace unifies structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, creating a “data without borders” environment for AI pipelines.

AI Infrastructure at Every Scale: NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE

To overcome the challenges of deploying AI at scale, HPE has unveiled new solutions under the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio for developers, enterprises, and sovereign entities.

HPE ProLiant Compute XD685

The new HPE ProLiant Compute XD685 now supports eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra (B300 HGX) GPUs in a 5U direct-liquid-cooled chassis.
It features HPE Integrated Lights Out (iLO) for built-in security and HPE Performance Cluster Manager for integrated cluster management.
The XD685 is optimized for AI service providers, neocloud operators, large enterprises, and model developers building secure, verified AI clusters at scale.

NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 by HPE

The new NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 by HPE delivers breakthrough performance optimized for AI models exceeding 1 trillion parameters.
The system is now available for order and expected to ship in December 2025.

HPE ProLiant Compute DL380 Gen12 Premier Solution for Azure Local

This solution offers a secure hybrid cloud infrastructure that allows organizations to run Azure services anywhere and accelerate AI innovation.
It brings select Azure services and AI capabilities directly into the data center while supporting NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, ensuring high performance for AI, graphics, and VDI workloads.

Expanded NVIDIA GPU Options

HPE now offers a broader range of NVIDIA GPUs across eight HPE ProLiant platforms to boost AI and graphics performance.
The lineup includes the powerful RTX PRO 6000 and compact NVIDIA RTX A1000, providing organizations in research, education, healthcare, finance, media, manufacturing, and retail with flexible, high-performance infrastructures to accelerate demanding workloads.

HPE ProLiant and HPE Cray servers will also launch alongside NVIDIA’s latest products, including Rubin CPXs and Vera Rubin CPX platforms.
Future HPE servers will support NVIDIA ConnectX-9 SuperNIC and NVIDIA BlueField-4, a DPU delivering 800 Gb/s throughput for giga-scale AI factories, offering multi-tenant networking, AI runtime security, rapid data access, and high-performance inference processing.
