GeForce NOW to Offer RTX 5080

Nvidia’s cloud-based gaming service GeForce NOW is coming with a major upgrade — RTX 5080 GPUs will soon be available on the platform.

Nvidia has announced a series of major upgrades for its cloud gaming service GeForce NOW, exciting gamers worldwide. After being teased at Gamescom 2025, the highly anticipated RTX 5080 upgrade now has an official release date. In its latest blog post, the company confirmed that Ultimate subscribers will be able to harness the power of RTX 5080 starting September 10.

RTX 5080 Power and Enhanced Visual Quality on GeForce NOW
GeForce NOW’s Ultimate tier is set to establish a new standard in cloud gaming by upgrading from the current RTX 4080 to the significantly more powerful RTX 5080. This transition will provide gamers with higher resolutions, smoother frame rates, and access to the latest graphics technologies.

Although there is no official date yet for when RTX 5080 servers will roll out in Turkey, considering that the RTX 4080 package became available in the country on November 19, 2024, the upgrade is expected to arrive for Turkish players in the coming months.

Another major announcement from Nvidia is the introduction of Cinematic Quality Streaming (CQS) technology, which takes visual quality to the next level. This system combines AI-powered video filtering, high-bitrate AV1 codec, and HDR10 support to deliver game streaming that is clearer, sharper, and more vibrant than ever before.

Additionally, the Low-Latency Streaming (LLS) technology further enhances the experience by minimizing input lag, making gameplay smoother and more competitive — especially for fast-paced, multiplayer titles.

Perhaps one of the most exciting innovations is the introduction of the Install-to-Play system. With this feature, users will be able to directly install Steam Cloud Play-supported games onto their virtual gaming PCs within GeForce NOW. According to Nvidia, this step instantly expands the number of supported games to over 4,500 titles.

Ultimate and Performance members will receive 100 GB of free cloud storage by default, while additional paid storage options of 200 GB, 500 GB, and 1 TB will also be available for larger games.

Handheld Consoles and High-Performance Options

The innovations don’t stop there. Steam Deck owners will now be able to play GeForce NOW games at up to 90 fps, while SteamOS-based Lenovo Legion Go S users will get support for up to 120 fps at 1080p resolution.

For users with high-speed internet, ultra-performance gaming experiences will be possible — offering up to 5K resolution at 120 fps or an impressive 360 fps at 1080p.
