The OnePlus Pad 2 has been unveiled, drawing significant attention with its innovative features.
Alongside its flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6, OnePlus has introduced its powerful new tablet — the OnePlus Pad 2. The company had already launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite–powered Pad 3 in global markets, which replaced the 2024 Pad 2 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

However, the tablet’s numbering system differs in China. The newly announced OnePlus Pad 2 may arrive in international markets under a different name — likely Pad 4 or Pad 5 — since the number four is considered unlucky in Chinese culture.
The OnePlus Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch display with a 3K resolution (3000 × 2120). The screen offers a dynamic 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits. According to OnePlus, the tablet can reach up to 144 FPS in select mobile games.
The tablet is powered by the flagship-level MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, which scores over 3 million points on AnTuTu. To keep temperatures under control, it features an ultra-large vapor cooling system covering more than 46,000 mm².
The device measures 5.99 mm in thickness and weighs 579 grams, drawing power from a 10,420 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. OnePlus states that the system is optimized for five years of seamless performance.
The tablet runs ColorOS 16, which comes preloaded with apps useful for both gamers and students. The new Game Camera feature allows users to capture ultra-clear moving screenshots or replay up to 30 seconds of gameplay.
Additionally, the tablet enhances the online learning experience with handwriting beautification and smart content extraction tools for note-taking. Users can run three apps side by side on the screen simultaneously.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is priced starting at 2799 yuan ($393). Pricing based on memory and storage options is as follows:
