The Galaxy S26 series will stand out with its camera and display!

Samsung’s next-generation flagship, the Galaxy S26 series, is set to draw attention with its impressive camera and display.

After months of uncertainty and mixed rumors, a new leak allegedly revealing details about the Samsung Galaxy S26 series suggests that major camera and hardware upgrades are finally on the way. Rather than bringing only minor refinements, the new lineup appears to include ambitious improvements designed to compete head-to-head with rivals.

Galaxy S26 series to feature major camera upgrades
One of the most exciting parts of the leak is that Samsung may be abandoning its long-criticized 3× telephoto camera strategy. Both the standard and Ultra models are expected to feature a much larger 12 MP 1/2.55-inch sensor, replacing the smaller sensors used for years. This move should significantly improve zoom clarity and overall photo quality, particularly in low-light conditions.

Rumors suggest that the Ultra model could feature a telephoto camera with up to 50 MP resolution, though this information has not yet been confirmed. Meanwhile, both the standard and Plus versions of the Galaxy S26 series are also expected to receive significant camera upgrades, ensuring that the improvements extend across the entire lineup—not just the flagship model.

Both the Galaxy S26 and S26+ models are expected to see a major ultra-wide camera upgrade — moving from 12MP to 50MP resolution. The main 50MP camera will reportedly feature a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor, similar in size to the 200MP sensor used in the current S25 Ultra, marking a significant leap in overall photo performance.

Beyond the camera, the Galaxy S26 series is also set to improve in key areas. All models in the lineup are rumored to feature QHD resolution displays using Samsung’s next-generation M14 OLED panels, promising enhanced brightness, efficiency, and color accuracy.

The Galaxy S26 lineup will reportedly feature the following display sizes and upgrades:

  • S26: 6.3 inches (up from 6.2 inches and 1080p on the S25)
  • S26+: 6.7 inches
  • S26 Ultra: 6.9 inches

The S26 Ultra may also receive a battery capacity boost — from 5,000mAh to 5,400mAh. However, it remains to be seen whether Samsung can achieve this without increasing the device’s thickness.

Performance will once again vary by region, with models powered by either the Exynos 2600 or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Interestingly, it’s now becoming more likely that even the Ultra variant could ship with Exynos processors in select markets.

Leaked reports also mention a new, thinner variant dubbed the “Galaxy S26 More Slim.” This model supposedly features a 6.6-inch QHD display, dual 50MP cameras, and a 4,300mAh battery. Although its final release status remains uncertain, insiders claim it won’t compromise heavily on performance or features despite its slimmer form.
